If you thought the only way to monetize affiliate marketing was via blogging, think again. Luckily for publishers, there are a plethora of options available to promote affiliate offers. Let’s go ahead and dive into the most popular.
Write product reviews. Send emails containing affiliate links. Post on Social Media. Publish tutorials. Create a blog resource library (like the one I created) Create affiliate pins for Pinterest. Write lists.
Make it a habit to check on that data at least once every month and keep clean records of the most important Digital Marketing metrics.
Even though they’re a behemoth – which might be an understatement, I’m only classifying Amazon Associates as a notable mention. They’re not really my favorite because I’m a bit cautious about Amazon’s business practices. I see them as a ruthless company that will do whatever it takes to cut costs, and I foresee that they will progressively reduce their affiliate commissions as they grow larger. Hence, I wouldn’t build my affiliate strategy and offerings around what Amazon has to offer.
There's nothing wrong with choosing option a) for now. Some affiliates say you shouldn't bother too much about your site's aesthetics because, at this point, there's nothing that can draw visitors to it. What's more important is to get started on creating content.
You can also build backlinks to your site by doing guest posts or interviews with other websites in the niche that will help your page to rank more effectively in its niche.
Honestly, the results fluctuate every month. You will notice months when you make good affiliate income and then, you may have months with less or poor income results. Try experimenting with new techniques and analyze results.
