The other part of it is you will need external sites to link to your site in order to build a network and continue to increase your site’s authority.
However, you should remember that just because you like something does not automatically mean that you should write about it.
A person not willing to spend money (not interested in buying) will never bother to ask you about the unspecific link or even click to it.

This is where a lot of affiliate marketers slip up. They think slapping a banner ad up on their blog that links to affiliate products is all they need to do.
Of course, making conversions on expensive products can present a challenge which is why I suggest promoting a combination of subscription-based products and high-ticket items.
