There isn’t much room for anything in between. If you aren’t educating your audience, providing value, or leading them through the buyer’s journey to connect them to the products and services they need, then you’re wasting your time.
An individual who promotes an advertiser’s product or service. In exchange, the publisher earns a commission. Usually, there is a contract that binds a publisher and advertiser. As part of this contract, the advertiser is the one who provides a publisher with text ads, links, and banners. The publisher then uses it on their website (if you don’t have a website learn how to build it) to promote the advertiser’s products and services. The publisher is also known as an affiliate – the future you.

All you really need to do is just create a website (which is super easy to do with website builders or using WordPress) and just focus on creating content that’s curated towards the local language/community.

Here’s another way to think of it. Let’s say your company specializes in selling products in bulk to other businesses using a particular fulfillment company. These businesses will likely need fulfillment services to get the products they create into the hands of their customers. Since you don’t provide fulfillment services yourself, you can refer them to your fulfillment company as part of an affiliate partner program. More value for your customer, and money in your pocket. Once you have built up your email list, you can start promoting offers via email. And when I say “built up,” I mean one person will do! Get used to sending emails to your readers, and make sure you create a relationship with them before you start to promote offers. You don’t want to come across like that person that only cares about making a sale! Be genuine, share tips and only promote when there is an honest offer that will fit your audience.
