Pay per lead is similar to pay per sale but with a different goal in mind. Pay per lead pays affiliates every time they persuade someone to visit the publisher’s website and completes an action such as signing up for an email list.

Check the rules of your affiliate programs – You need to check the rules of all of the specific affiliate programs you’re a part of. For example, the Etsy Affiliates Policy does not permit affiliates to post their links directly on Pinterest. Instead, Etsy Affiliates promote products in a blog post, and then link to that from their pins.
There are sites out there who make their money largely from advertising products or goods that they’ve never even tried themselves, but I found for my own blog that the products that “sell” the most are the ones that I actually use or genuinely stand behind.
