It's important to find out about the brand's refund policy, too. Refunds are an inevitable part of shopping. But what happens if someone buys through your affiliate link and then wants a refund? It's important to know if you're going to be charged back for refunds.
5.0 out of 5 stars The beginner affiliate marketer's best resource tool for getting started... I just finished reading Kevin Ulaner's book and I am definitely impressed. I've been studying affiliate marketing through various resources and this book clicked on the light. Very easy to read, great layout from how to get started, what to look for, and how to implement the ideas. I was impressed with the fact that I finally got how to log into Amazon and get my affiliate account up and running, where and what to research for niche ideas and organic research and content building...This is definitely the book to get when you're first starting out to help you understand the process of affiliate marketing. So get your pen and highlighter out and use this great resource to get you started on the right track for creating your affiliate marketing goals. I am a total beginner and am in the process of learning as much as I can. I have taken paid courses, seen many paid videos and have read books as well. This book focuses on essential procedures not covered as thoroughly in other affiliate marketing books. If you're a beginner trying to wade through the miriad of AM books out there, I highly recommend you read this one.

Working as an affiliate marketer isn’t really working much at all, once you get into the swing of things. Although the work is front-end heavy (you have to do a lot before you will see any income) you will eventually find that you don’t need to do much work at all and that you will literally make money as you sleep.
Well, the question is: a friend of mine has an Instagram account where she posts pictures related to architecture. The pics she posts are all selected from different websites (i.e., none of the pictures are hers). She usually mentions the website where the picture came from (though she often doesn't know the name of the photographer.)
But there’s also a middle ground between the two – and that’s where affiliate marketing sits.

“Okay, this all sounds great,” you say. “But you’re not really an affiliate program until you have sophisticated tracking available.” And you’re right. Once again, we’re happy to do most of the work for you. It all starts with the quick setup of an affiliate link and the entire tracking process looks something like this:

One mistake that pushes marketers into the "abyss of despair" is plotting out too many articles ahead of time. Don't do that to yourself. Remember, we're only human, and we can only work on one thing at a time. Start with article one, finish it, then move to article two. Don't take on too much at once because that's how you become overwhelmed.
