Shopify has an affiliate program. I’ve been using Shopify for the past 3 years and I absolutely love what it does for online businesses. So I sign up for the affiliate program and promote it during my speaking gigs, in blog posts (like this one) and I also share it with my network of people who are into starting their own eCommerce businesses. In return, Shopify gives me $58 for each person that signs up as a result of my referral. The people that I promote Shopify to don’t have to pay a higher price. In fact, by virtue of me being an affiliate – I am actually empowered to give special promotions and discounts to people who sign up via my link.

No product inventory is required, and affiliates can still make a healthy online income as an Amazon affiliate.
Running contests and giveaways for affiliate marketing is a strategy like none else. It can be a promotional venture for followers to interact with a particular brand via your portfolio and they could get rewarded as a result. These contests could generate specific hashtags that would boost affiliate marketing further and get more attention to the brand via your influence. However, this will only be successful after you’ve built a bit of a following. Check out our guide on how to run an Instagram contest.
Sometimes marketers promote their affiliate programs by offering bonuses to anyone who purchases the offer. For example, you could give a free ebook you wrote to any follower who makes a purchase. Promotions like this encourage customers to buy by sweetening the deal.
