For those of you who don’t know anything about Clickbank, it’s one of the world’s leading digital product marketplaces. You’ll find ebooks, video courses, membership sites, etc. on there. Every once in a while, you’ll also see physical products there as well.
Once your review article is complete, place your affiliate links at appropriate places inside the article where your users are most likely to click on it.
If you’re just dipping your toe in the affiliate marketing industry, this first option may be enough to get you started.
There’s no guesswork involved, so you can map out exactly what affiliate programs you’re going to promote and roughly how much you can expect to make per sale.
First, you need to start reviewing products in your niche. That can be done on a YouTube channel, on a blog or even just using live streams on Periscope.
The Erin Condren affiliate marketing program gives you 10% of each sale you refer to them which is often quite high since their average sale is $73.71 and your viewers are likely to be planning to buy there anyway because planner YouTubers are promoting products from a planner company.
The overall goal of an affiliate program is to create a win-win framework for both brands and their affiliate partners – a structure that, when established properly and strategically managed, can make up a significant portion of a brand’s online revenue, with high ROAS and low CPA. Affiliate partner promotes a brand’s products or services on their site. Consumer clicks on brand’s promotion on the affiliate’s site and a cookie is then stored on the consumer’s browser (see the next section below for more on cookies); this is what makes it possible for the affiliate network or SaaS platform to track the consumer’s progress from the affiliate’s website through to the brand’s shopping cart. Consumer is redirected to brand’s website. Consumer purchases a product/service from the brand. The network or SaaS platform then automatically pays out a commission to the affiliate (based on the rules set by the brand) for driving that sale.
All of these programs are free to join and get you started as soon as you join them.
Again, it is not only limited to YouTube. You can even do it on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms.
If you don’t even know a single word about it, you don’t have to worry as I’m going to teach you each and everything in this one descriptive guide to kickstart.
