The thing that you’re most interested in is probably the number of potential earnings, right? What can you expect to get paid for a promotion?
For now, though, what's important is to find a product niche that you're familiar with. Are you good at putting outfits together? Perhaps the fashion niche may feel more familiar. Are you a legendary gamer? You will feel right at home promoting gaming products because you've already used them several times, and know which ones offer the best value, and which ones people should stay away from.

I must commend you for this very useful article. I have been searching for tips on affiliate marketing to find out if it is a source genuine online business, or something fraudulent. Thanks for the encouragement. September 19, 2017 at 6:48 am September 19, 2017 at 5:18 am
Do you know physical products tend to have higher conversion rates than digital products?
Here's what that means: if you select a highly specific domain name, such as one with the name of the products you intend to promote, when you decide to diversify into other niches, you might need a whole new domain name, which is expensive and time-consuming.
We understand that when you see people making millions from marketing products in emerging niches, it becomes challenging to stay focussed.
Great post. Love the way you explain all the detail of affiliate marketing. It helped me a lot. Glad to find this page
If you want to earn money with affiliate marketing, and we'd bet that you do, the commission type and amount you can earn is probably the most important factor for you. There are generally two types of commission structures: flat and recurring. The flat model is more common for physical products and involves a single, one-time flat payment per sale. In the recurring model, the model more popular with subscription products, you get commissions each time the customer renews.
Besides being a great tool, they currently offer a lifetime, recurring 33% commission on every person you refer. In other words, you make one sale, and then receive a commission check each and every month for as long as that person is a customer of ConvertKit.
Here’s a collection of those posts that I think you’ll find helpful when it comes to choosing a niche, getting your site up and running, and some big mistakes to avoid:
To enhance the post, use the description box to tell your audience about the product and its use, and how it will benefit the buyer. Remember to add the referral links so the customers know where they can purchase the product.
For example, if you wrote a blog post on “10 tips to stay healthy” then you could recommend a plethora of products throughout the article, where relevant such as healthy drinks and foods, cooking utensils, health books and many more.
There are sites out there who make their money largely from advertising products or goods that they’ve never even tried themselves, but I found for my own blog that the products that “sell” the most are the ones that I actually use or genuinely stand behind.
This will let your readers know that you are looking for the best deals for them while earning a commission if they make a purchase from your affiliate links.
What you can do, however, is use Instagram to drive people to your mailing list. For example, give away a free ebook through Instagram and then promote your affiliate offer via good old email marketing. Providing something free is often easier than selling a product that costs money.
This post goes into way more detail about how to make money affiliate marketing through product reviews.
